Door scantling

Door scantling is a wood industry semi-finished product of modern door manufacturing. It is glued, compressed of 2, 3, or 4 knot-free lamellas. Advantages: it can be used immediately, easily workable, dimensionally stable, free of deformation, can be processed without waste. 

Species, characteristics

Spruce

Spruce timber is the lightest wood material, easy to work and treat.

Origin: Europe
Colour: yellowish-white
Bulk Density: 450 kg/m3
Moisture Content: 12% ± 2%

Pine

As regards its material, pine is a denser structured, more massive wood material with higher load capacity. pine is name also Scots pine.

Origin: Europe, Siberia
Colour: reddish-yellow
Bulk Density: 550 kg/m3
Moisture Content: 12% ± 2%

Larch

Out of the three wood materials, redwood is the most precious. It is extremely durable, has excellent mechanical properties, easily workable and has extremely dense growth structure.

Origin: Siberia (Russia)
Colour: yellowish-reddish brown
Bulk Density: 700-800 kg/m3
Moisture Content: 12% ± 2%

Surfacing

For the finishing, you can equally use wood dyes, transparent colours, lacquers, depending on what colour effect, glaze we would like to achieve.

You can safely select from the finishing agents sold by us, these are environment-friendly products.

In case of outdoor use, we always recommend using a wood protective agent, mainly water based paint.
